True love or triumph bliss?
Il Giornale, November 8th 2012
Dear Michelle,
Do you really enjoy being the extension, the bulging of your husband’s victory?
Do you like him declaring you his amour fou [insane love, T’s N] right as he proclaims his satisfaction to be again the President of the USA? What a confusion, who is the object of desire, power or his wife? Go ahead and ask him. It looks like love turns here into a utility, proof is he affirms with unconscious cynicism that he rejoices because America fell in love with Michelle right during the electoral campaign, just like he did; his wife incidentally brought him loads of votes.
Dear Michelle, do you really appreciate your man telling you “I’ve never loved you more” right as he’s in seventh heaven also because you were of utility to him? Do you also like that the height of his political momentum turns also into the apogee of your relationship? Yeah great. I welcome that husband and wife love each other of course, but I’d like to see it when life is still; that’s too easy when personal affection turns into the collateral object of one’s triumph.
And again Michelle, how could you put up with the ad where the girl says “The first time shouldn't be with just anybody. You want to do it with a great guy. Someone who really cares about and understands women … "? This idea of a first time women’s voting as compared to a sexual encounter with the president is conceptual unfaithfulness worth of Gadda’s Eros and Priapus, when he mentioned the erotic attraction to your leader as an instrument of power. He was referring to Mussolini though.
