Taliban frenzy: backing polio

Human beings all over the map love to harm themselves, to destroy their hopes for prosperity, health, and richness… Progressivism naively nurtures a fond hope of a world devoted to the “quest for happiness”, almost a duty rather than a right enshrined in the United States constitution. In reality half of humanity is slave to masochistic drives and Talibans score first, at least these days: they killed nine people in a couple of days, almost exclusively women of course, volunteer workers guilty of taking part in the anti-polio campaign. Talibans don’t care that Pakistan remains the Asian country with the highest rate. The number of cases had decreased thanks to vaccinations: from 136 cases in November 2011 to 47 this year. They don’t like it, they don’t want ready and willing women to bring safety, women must stay at home; if they dare being useful to the world, let them die, and let the next sick die. It’s the same logic that set fire to Forooqi Girls High School in Lahore, a school with 8000 schoolgirls, burnt down because it was a place of education of girls where a woman teacher, of course, was accused of blasphemy.

According to the great historian Bernard Lewis the main cause of poverty and underdevelopment in the Islamic world is women’s reclusion, Talibans love sentencing them to home segregation by violence, they don't care about anythoing else but their blind credo, women progress for them is just evil. They like a society where 13 girls from 4 to 16 from Dera Bugti district were given in marriage to conclude a clan dispute. Taliban masochists also often indulge in vitriolizing insubordinate girls. They turn them into monsters, the image of their sinful deeds and a ,mirror of the Taliban masochism in contemplating the mangle. Fakhra Younas, who with her maimed visage had fled to Rome, jumped to her death from a sixth floor window. Yes, this may cause joy to human being like Talibans, joy and horror are mixed in their view and it's hard for us to understand this antinomic system.

So, we don't have a way to react, we just run away in disgust and fear.  How do we actually react to face by this world upside down? What do we do for the teacher who checks every day, and this is a true story, that the wells at the school have not been poisoned at night time by Talibans? We just retreat, defeated. That’s exactly how UNICEF and the World Health Organization reacted. They suspended the drive, and ran away. There is no more antipolio campaign in Pakistan now. In this logic, there will not be more girls school in Afghanistan..They won. Polio, evil, and the masochist monster goes on undefected.
