“New Egypt” blames Israel for Al Qaeda commanded massacre

It has tragically become clear: Sinai has fallen a prey to Al Qaeda affiliated terrorist gangs which attack both Egypt and Israel in their quest for real Islam. After its rise to power the Muslim Brotherhood had its first occasion to prove to have a head on its shoulders, whereas what emerges from the new Egypt of Mohammed Morsi, its president who belongs to the Brotherhood, is a senseless conspiracy proclamation, which destroys the concept itself of diplomacy. What a shame it is, instead of looking for the culprits of last Sunday's fifteen dead, pinpointing the usual scape goat for the shallowest public opinion: Israel, second victim of the attack, jointly with the Pyramids' country.

On the contrary, after Sunday night's terror attack along Egypt-Israel's border at the crossing of Kerem Shalom (close to Rafiah in Hebrew, Rafah in Arabic), which proved that Sinai is an irredeemable nest of International terrorism, the Muslim Brothers came up stating that the attack had been orchestrated by Mossad with the intent to stymie Morsi, namely to pit him against his Palestinians friends in Gaza, as proved by the fact that Israel had warned its compatriots to interrupt their vacation in Sinai (like so many other times over the past few years … ).

So, the Brotherhood concludes it is necessary to review the peace treaty. Morsi has so far refrained from commenting, but it is unlikely that his party, currently Egypt's main party, had so resolutely published - on its site - a de facto acquittal of Al Qaeda and related terrorists, who have already been upsetting Egypt some time. Just think how many times the gas pipelines between Israel ans Egypt exploded and to what extent the social background accounts for the terrorists' presence because of poverty: on August 5th a raging crowd of poor killed a person in front of the luxury hotel Fairmont, in the heart of the established power. Mubarak resolutely confronted rebels with firmness, whereas Mursi will not put them away, neither will he sentence them to long years in jail: they are his religious and political brothers, his crowd, that now, disappointed and hungry, threatens him. Egypt's decision to seal Rafah's crossing was followed by a raged statement by Hamas, which looked at is as a “collective punishment”. Hamas is however well aware of how many terrorists from Gaza circulate around Sinai, Al Qaeda or Magle Shoura al Mujahddin henchmen, who upon the request not to cross the border to Egypt reply “There is no border between Muslim Countries. Mujahaddin know only Allah given borders, i.e. the ones of the Islamic Ummah”. Here is the gap.

Here the explanation to Sunday's sophisticated and ambitious attack is to be found: an ideological plan. Egypt and Israel sensed the risk: Egyptians are hunting down militiamen with war helicopters, Israel shut the crossings and issued a high alert warning, Netanyahu visited the crossings and said: “We will protect ourselves”. The Egyptian army, which maybe exactly because it paid the highest price with 16 dead, showing therefore a manifest weakness, got back into the saddle by announcing that “the Nation's enemy will be confronted with force”. What is happening?

Shortly after the killing of Bin Laden, Al Qaeda's new leader announced a “regional jihad” policy. Its means: attacks against local “heretics” in the various Arab states. Its objective: the control of the entire Middle East. Its strategic dimension: Get close to the borders of the “Zionist entity” and surround it. In the course of Rafiah attack terrorists wore Egyptian uniforms: What could have been better than Israelis killing some Egyptians? Or the other way round? The total war against Israel is the first dream of Islamic Jihad. There is no longer any other sovereign state on Israel's borders to restrain the common attitude of hatred for the Jewish State nor to stop its incitement, as clearly proven by the statements of the Egyptian Brotherhood now at government: Arab revolutions aid all extremist behaviors. Egypt is now in Mursi's and Salafists' hands. Syria became a target for all jihadist organizations, including Al Qaeda now infiltrated in Syria right from the Iraq. Currently Hezbollah, assisting to the decline of the star of their best friend Bashar Assad, is interested in the most possible chaos, just like its sponsor, Iran, which repeatedly made the destruction of Israel its manifest goal. The stakes for hard-core jihadists are high. On this occasion Israel proved to have excellent intelligence sources. Visits between Egyptian services and Mossad have always been frequent. Israel warned Egypt about incumbent dangers several times, complaining afterward that Egypt did not act or used a revolving door. Now, in addition to Egypt and Israel, also Hamas is potentially interested in preventing Morsi from being stymied by Palestinians, moreover from Gaza: it would rather strengthen the relationship with the new president against jihadist forces. But its hatred towards Israel is so deep to prevent a triangular business which eventually could even spare some Jewish life. No way
