Attack to the Israeli Embassy in the name of Allah

Yesterday, there was an attempted terrorist attack at the Israeli Embassy in Ankara. Not many newspapers wrote about it. Unfortunately, there is nothing odd about an Islamist screaming "Allahu Akbar", who tries to stab someone at that Embassy; the event was immediately described by diplomatic representatives of the two countries concerned as being perpetrated by "a mentally unstable person." This is global “politically correctness,” and it is logical when it occurs in the capital of a country which in recent years has made incensed and baseless attacks against Israel one of its main features, and that only a few weeks ago decided, by a new agreement, to reestablish diplomatic relations and decent language.

But the attack is characteristically an act of terror carried out by a "lone wolf," and it is also part of those attacks that express the convulsions in which Erdogan’s Turkey, constantly besieged by terrorism, is subjected. The attacker, who was thwarted by Turkish police, is Omar Nuri Caliskan, 41. He has no connection, at first glance, with any Islamist group and with typical posture, shouted, "I will change the Middle East."

The attacker was able to reach the Embassy's outer perimeter, and police reacted quickly by stopping him with a shot in the leg. This proves the high state of alert of the police in Turkey. Also foreign missions after a wave of attacks by ISIS and as Erdogan repeats, by the Kurds, are in red alarm. The British Embassy had already closed last Friday and the German Embassy offered only limited services.

This is while Turkey seeks to launch signals that it is returning to international normality after the long confrontation with Israel and also with Russia. It remains, however, in a shaking position both geographically, with its border with Syria, from which it has facilitated the entry of foreign fighters for too long; and politically, given Erdogan’s authoritarian grip and his entry into the anti-rebel war alongside his worst enemies, Assad, and his treacherous friends, specifically Shiite Iran and Hezbollah (while Erdogan is a recognized leader of the Brotherhood Muslim, the sunni elite). The Kurds are still his worst enemies, and certainly the risk of their attacks is ever present.

In a word, Turkey for Islamist terrorism is one of many battlefields and it is most attractive when you utter the name "Israel:"no, the terrorist was not only "mentally instable", Turkish ears in recent years have been bombarded by radio, television, and official speeches that contain violent anti-Israel rhetoric, Hamas it is one of Erdogan’s best friends, Iran and Hezbollah his allies. Therefore, even if Caliskan had no relationship with terrorist organizations and the Internet is his leader and master in teaching how to wage a terrorist war, yet once again as in the case of the attacks in recent days in Israel, 10 in four days, environmental incitement is an essential factor in the drive to kill.

And, as a matter of fact, Caliskan was already on the security file for having publicly expressed wild anti-Israeli sentiments (we can imagine how incredibly wild, in Turkey where everybody are used to it since so many years).

Yes, anti-israelianism can become also a wild obsession, a homicidal mania: it has happened and it happens today in so in many cases not only in Turkey but all over Europe, it is fed daily by hate on the media and in the leadership speeches, and also by politically correctness when you deny it's Islamic link. It's called anti-Semitism.

Dear Fiamma Voice of Truth and an alarming bell trying to awake naive Western Liberals from ilusionary slumber of multiculturism and the world " without fences " dreams The Muslims were stabbing , shooting Jews , vandalizing their property and raping Jewish women in Hebron and elsewhere since the twenties of the last century and beforehand " in the name of Allah " and their " Liberation Organization of Palestine PLO was established 3 years before " the 1967 " occupation" Liberating what and from whom and owing to what " right "?So, why wonder ?The Muslims conquered a third of the word in the Wars of Islam and now , just, changed their tactics by flooding deliberately the West with hordes of homelesss " refugees " exploiting artfully the liberal naivety of the Western public. The only thing they are consistent in is hatred of Israel and the attempts to destroy it by means of combination of terror and hostile , mendacious propaganda. Israel made peace with Egypt and Jordan - 2 important Arab states that fought bravely in the fronts not in children's bedrooms or at bus and train stops , and lost but had a courage to duly recognize Israel even prior to reaching a peace agreement with it Your sincerely Peter Rotberg
